Stronger Together

Strength Training for Adults 40+ in Middleton

Progressive strength work designed for how bodies really work after 40 — safe, structured, and steadily challenging.

Starting in your 30s, the body quietly loses lean muscle and bone density every year you don't train it. Strength training is the most evidence-backed way to push back — protecting your joints, your independence, and your energy for decades to come.

At our Middleton studio, strength isn't a young person's game. It's the foundation of everything we do — and every workout is built for the way real bodies work after 40.

Programming That Respects Your History

Whether you're easing back in after years away, managing a nagging injury, or chasing your strongest decade yet, your coach adjusts load, tempo, and movement selection to your body — not the other way around. Old injuries and physical limitations get modifications built directly into your program.

Progress You Can Measure

Structured, progressive training blocks — compound lifts, joint-friendly accessory work, and conditioning — with regular InBody scans and strength benchmarks that show exactly how far you've come.

“Best place to work out ever! Natalie is so knowledgeable and professional. As someone with previous back injuries, I’ve never hurt myself once like I did at my previous gym with no customization.”

Strength work happens inside our small group personal training sessions — and it all starts with a free Starting Point Session.

Common Questions

Is this program really designed for people my age and fitness level?

Yes—while we welcome adults of all ages and fitness levels, our programs are uniquely tailored for adults 40+. Whether you're brand new to strength training or returning after time off, our expert coaches and supportive small group format ensure you feel confident, safe, and empowered every step of the way.

I have an old injury (bad knee, shoulder, back). Can I still train at Alloy?

Yes, and you're in the majority. Many of our members come to us with a previous injury, joint issue, or physical limitation. Your coach learns your history during your Starting Point Session and builds modifications directly into your program, so you train hard where you can and smart where you need to. Many members tell us this is the first place they've trained without pain.

Do I have to be in shape already to join?

Not at all! Many of our members haven't exercised in years. We meet you where you are, and our small group personal training ensures you get expert guidance, every session. There's no judgment—just encouragement and smart programming that moves at your pace.

Is this like CrossFit or a bootcamp?

No. There are no competitions, no whiteboard leaderboards, and no pushing through pain. Alloy is structured strength training with a coach who knows your name and your limits, in groups small enough that nothing gets missed.

Every Membership Starts the Same Way

Getting started is simple. Schedule your free Starting Point Session at 8333 Greenway Blvd Ste 140, where you'll meet with a coach to talk through your goals, health history, and training experience. We'll complete a strength and mobility assessment, an InBody body composition scan, and a goal-setting conversation — then map out a customized fitness plan and recommend the membership that's the best fit. No pressure, no obligation.
